Any biscuit line consists of basic equipment with the addition of auxiliary devices which are required to enhance the flexibility of the line, to decorate the product or for other purposes. The many different auxiliary units available for installation on Imaforni’s biscuit, cookies or cracker lines, include those listed here, which are the most important.   • ink printer:

    used to deposit caramel on top of rotary moulded or rotary cut dough pieces. Useful for differentiating the appearance of your products.

  • egg wash system:

    a roller system used to deposit a thin film of egg-based syrup on top of the dough pieces. After baking, it gives the surface of the biscuits a brown appearance.

  • salt/sugar sprinkler:

    hopper and roller type; reliability, flexibility and accuracy are its key features

  • Soda bath: the dark brown appearance of pretzel-like snacks is created by plunging them into a high-temperature soda bath. Two systems are available: curtain showering system or total immersion.

  • Oven’s drum cooling system:

    this device is used to cool down the conveyor band of the oven before it enters the baking chamber. It keeps the spreading effects of certain types of dough under control.

  • Oven’s wire mesh water jet cleaning system:

    after collecting debris and crumbs, the wire-mesh conveyor becomes dirty. Brush cleaning systems are usually enough, but for heavy-duty use we have developed a high-performance but reasonably priced water jet cleaning system. It can be retrofitted only on the latest generation of Imaforni ovens.

  • Oil Dripping Conveyor:

    after spraying oil on the cracker, the excess oil which remains on the top and bottom is collected on a separate conveyor. It is made of plastic though, on request, a wire-mesh collecting conveyor belt can be supplied.

  • Longitudinal cracker breaking group:

    after spraying oil on the cracker, the excess oil which remains on the top and bottom is collected on a separate conveyor. It is made of plastic though, on request, a wire-mesh collecting conveyor belt can be supplied.

  • Transversal cracker breaker:

    positioned at the oven exit, it is used to break the crackers into strips when baked as a continuous sheet of crackers.
