» Sheeting line

The sheeting line is used for the production of a wide range of products, such as hard sweet biscuits, using a straight sheeting process, or for cracker production (either soda or cream), using the cut & sheet laminator.
In this forming process the dough is dumped into the hopper of a three-roll sheeter or a four-roll sheeter depending on the type of dough to be processed or the space available. This unit forms a sheet of dough of a certain thickness, which is then sent to a set of gauge rolls which gradually reduce the thickness of the sheet down to the final thickness required for processing by the rotary cutter. In the case of cracker production, their unique layered texture is given by the cut & sheet laminator.
The control system of the sheeting line is fundamental for high and efficient production standards. An efficient and reliable cascade control system for all the motors ensures a stress-free dough sheet which produces final products of consistent thickness and dimensions.
Other devices, such as the automatic dough sheet loop control unit, contributes to the smooth and consistent production of modern sheeting lines.
The unit can be supplied with a working width from 1000 up to 1700 mm.
All the mechanical components of the unit are housed outside the frame of the machine. This solution, which is consistent with the company's design philosophy, ensures perfect sanitation and easy cleaning of the machinery, while facilitating access for inspection and servicing.
