Dear Readers,

We always love sharing ideas, which , we think, have always been an important ingredient to our success. So we open now a direct channel of communication to you, Key Managers, who professionally operate in the biscuit industry. Here’s “Imaforni Today”, our official in-house journal that you will periodically receive.

We started our adventure in this business in 1962, young, full of new ideas and energies; since that period, two main "stars" have always led our professional activity: quality of our products and correctness to our Customers. On those days we started with a team of few persons, now Imaforni is a Group with over 170 employees, to whom we personally still transfer, on a day to day basis, the philosophy which is still guiding us.

This space will be used to keep you informed about our Group's activities: we have decided to use a format where few topics will be discussed each time; every issue in fact will contain an article about one technical subject; an application case will illustrate the installation and the reasons of certain technical solutions adopted. Prestigious and professional operators of the Biscuit Bakeries will report their comments and impressions. Last but not least our Company is based on people and we want you to know who is doing what in our organisation; every issue will introduce you the person in charge of a particular Department or duty in our organisation.

Let us also highlight to you that we have added a pay-off (this is as marketing people call it) under our logo: it reads "the basic ingredient". It must summarize that the making of good biscuits is still an art, that each baker applies an enormous care in the selection of each ingredient, that Imaforni is part of this cocktail of high quality ingredients which leads to your success. Basic in the sense of being an essential and fundamental ingredient which cannot be missed in your business.

We hope that this tool could be considered a regular pleasant appointment that will deliver useful information about the policies, philosophy and activities of our Company.
