From 3rd to 9th October at Hall 15 stand C 50

By following the types of enquiries that Imaforni received in the last months from its customers throughout the world, the market’s trend appears very clear: the biscuit consumers enjoy more added value products!
In particular, wire cut, depositor and co-extruded machines seems to be the most wanted.
In order to ride the wave and to respond to market’s demand, at IBA Imaforni presents its range of flexible wirecut/co-extrusion and depositor units.
The wirecut-co-extrusion machine represents a novelty which is destined to leave its footprint in the market.
It consists of its well proven high performing wirecut unit implemented with the soft centre co-extrusion kit which gives to this unit the possibility to extrude cream or injectable jams into a soft dough.
The co-extrusion is obtained in the specially designed system composed of the filler-block-co-extrusion plate and die. A set of pumps transfer the cream/jam from the hoppers to
the co-extrusion plate.
The machine is particularly flexible as it can be fitted with two or more separate hoppers which allow to manufacture, at the same time, two different flavours/colours of the same filling. Imaforni’s designers have developed the possibility to easily install the machine directly above the oven’s belt without the need to cut and re-join the metal belt of the oven, with consequent short time and low cost installation expenses.

A further novelty is represented by the Depositing Machine.
The head of the machine is composed of a pair of grooved rolls which evenly feed the dough to a set of dosing pumps positioned underneath.
The “one pump-one nozzle” concept ensures the uniformity of weight consistency across the width. The head’s cycle movements can be illustrated as follow:
• lower the head
• follow the band while depos iting
• lift the head to cut the tail
• slightly reverse the movement of the pumps in order to increase the “tail cut” effect
• return to its starting position
The machine is fully servocontrolled: all the movements of the head are driven by independent motors positioned on both external sides of the unit. No shafts or cams are driving any movements: this means that all possible adjustments can be set from the Touch Screen Operator Interface Panel with its in-built recipes storage system. The flexibility is therefore guaranteed: a wide and extremely different range of doughs can be easily handled. Flexibility is also enhanced as the machine can work also as wirecut or depositor with rotating nozzles for the production of deposited twisted dough pieces. A jam depositor can be added in synchronisation to the unit in order to produce enriched products. Changeover production has never been so short in depositor/wirecut machines.
